November 30 Lecture!

Who is Elgregoe?: ELGREGOE (Greg Britt ) with his wife Sue are the presenters of one of New Zealand’s top school shows having performed to over half a million NZ students. You’ve Got The Power Antibullying show is sponsored by Trustpower a major energy company.
2009 started with a bang for Elgregoe being included in the Queens New Year Honours list and in March the Governor General presented Greg with The New Zealand Order of Merit. On New Years Eve New Zealand Magicians also honoured Elgregoe, presenting him with the Grand Master of Magic Award.
With over 450 TV appearances, 20 magic awards, 8 ears of weekly performances at the Christchurch Casino and 1000s of live shows this lecture will present much of why Elgregoe has MAGIC THAT WORKS and keeps him busy doing over 320 shows a year.
What is the lecture about? Edutainment – Educating through entertainment. Elgregoe will share many new, strong and tested routines developed through years of performing that can be adapted to your show. Not just schools but corporate, gospel and family shows. Elgregoe believes every performance close up or stage should have the WOW FACTOR. There will be good gags, bits of business and added marketing tips others will not tell you that will help you fill your diary and get more shows. There will also be a good range of quality props, many made in New Zealand. The lecture will start at 7:30 but as usual, we will have an informal dinner before the lecture which will begin at 6:00pm. You must book dinner with the St George on 9446 2424 but no booking is required for the lecture. Tell them the booking is for the magic lecture to ensure seating in the right area.
